A lot of coaches will play more players early on to see who brings what to the table. Then later in the season as it gets closer to tournament time they've got a good idea of the talents of each of the players and play them accordingly. Teams progress as the season goes on so while BHS may have looked dominant early the other teams have caught up.

that being said a 6 man rotation is not the best thing in the world for a wda or state tourney, especially if you slip up and lose the first or second game and you get in a must win situation. Look at the last time bhs won state, they had there starters, Ulmer, Baumgartener, esley, martinez, and malm, but then off the bench guys like hruby, ingmensen, fartsveet and pintar all saw 5-10 minutes a game. By looking at the playing time in the last 2 games did poitra get hurt or do something to get into millers doghouse. In the mandan game we played like 2 min and in the jamestown game he didn't play, I think he is a key guy for bhs if they are going to win. He is a guy who can open things help open things up on the offensive end because teams have to respect his jump shooting ability. From the games i have watched this year it seems lake bhs's offense gets somewhat stagnent when dwayne is in this game. Teams have come to realize that he is not really a threat to shoot the jumpshot and can sag back when he has the ball and dig hard when he doesn't have the ball. That being said dwayne still needs to get his minutes because he takes a lot of presure off of esley and nick because he can gaurd the other teams best player...it is an interesting situation that miller has this year and hopefully willer can find the magic combination to win... something makes me think someone you wouldn't expect from bhs is going to step up in a big way during the tournaments.

HAVE TO MATCH THEIR DEFENSIVE INTENSITY AND MUST PRODUCE SOME OFFENSIVE CONSISTENCY
