britan eisenbeis from mandan has a really nice shot. he will definetly be one of the top 3 point shooters in the WDA this year.

Eisenbeis is a pure open range shooter with some limited post skills..But plays bigger than his size...defends well and hits glass hard...May be a big piece of Mandan puzzle this season...

Watching the Braves this weekend it looks like if you commit to stopping Big K in the middle and leave the wings open that ALL of the players have the potentail to stroke it from the line..Flaa had some nice looks as did Friesz and Coyle..But watched Britan Eisenbeis just look so smooth in making 5 of 7 for the weekend..I am guessing better defensive teams will make the task more difficult!!

ok what is this talk. obviously the wolf pack is the only guy making any sense here. Matt '' The Sniper'' Pfaff has put in his time and has proven to be what his nickname has implied, a Sniper. He is deadly from the 3, and with him comin off guns a blazin is a good sight. once he has locked the basket in his scope he can easy snipe any shot any where!!! The Birdman is god, need i say more. He is just INSANE!! this kid has been goin off!! missing one 3 on friday and nailing a perfect 4 for 4 on saturday, no doubt the birdman has takin flight and i'd like to see someone stop him crank his birdwalk!!!

I feel that Finley from BHS will be one of the top 3-point shooters this season. I saw him play about a month ago and he has definitely improved his perimeter shooting. It looked like he was able to develop a quick pull-up 3-point shot that was almost un-blockable...keep in mind it was only at an open gym but still...I saw a lot of improvement from last season. There were some decent defenders there that couldn't contain him. I think he will provide for some match-up problems this year because of his inside and newly developed outside game. This is my opinion and he hasn't played a game yet-so, I'll have to wait and see what happens.

i'm sorry, but what the heck are you talkin about??!?!?!?!? Jaylen Finley a top 3 pointer? HE is mostly involved ''INSIDE" the three point line. i am not doubting that he can hit a 3 at the 'YMCA', but seriously come on! there is no way that finley will appear to be a top 3 point shooter. even if he had an open shot, the coach would rather see him take it to the rim than taking a risky shot. Just saying that it is likely improbable and likely impossible that finley will emerge as a 3 point shooter in the bismarck high system.

You're really starting to get annoying. how about u wait till your beloved pats actually beat someone good. Yah u do have a pretty good team, but how about u focus on playing, then coming up with a bunch of really corny names for each other.

I am getting annoying? I'm sorry if you're affended for what is appearing on this screen man, but the fact is this post is for the ''Best 3 Point Shooter in the West." I am stating my opinion in who i believe is a solid three point shooter. As for what the team is concerned with, i cant wait until they beat what you call a pretty good team. I don't play ball for the school, so i dont have to focus on playing. It gives me the time to think of these names as to which you wish that you could be called by. Jealousy is a trait in every human, but please dont bash my comments about a team when you are under the wrong post.

He will still most likely be scoring a great deal of his points in the paint. Last season he displayed a knack at scoring around the basket. However, I feel this season we can expect big things from Finley...not just in the paint...but also from 3-point range.

I believe i am legend may be jealous of The Birdman's mad skills because he was 4 for 4 on sat and that was against Shanley who everybody says to watch out to be a sleeper so clearly they have beaten a good team and as for the "corny" nicknames y r u worried about them they r names give to people no big deal

Maybe he will surprise me, but from what I have seen from Jalen this summer and fall, he will probably showcase his athleticism much more this season. I noticed that much more than a three point shot, yes he can hit the three, but I don't really think that is his game. I would be surprised if he made more than 20 this year.

No one has mentioned Hanstad yet. I know he isn't a three point specialist but with how greatly talented he is, he must be able to knock them down with the best of them.

to the yessman, the birdman fan, the one man wolf pack, and mr. all day

you really need to stop forcing your opinions on everyone else. you guys said it yourselves, this is an opinion topic, so let others voice their opinion as much as you do. im all for discussion, but your posts have crossed the discussion line into talking up your boys at CHS. Discuss if you want but none of you are his agent and you dont have to sell him on this board. if hes as good as you have said, he will be talked about plenty

to add my two cents to this conversation, joe hanstad is a good shooter but is more of a slasher and really just gets open in the flow of the offense. he doesnt just spot up outside and hit like others mentioned in this topic. i really have to agree with jared hoffman from minot. after watching him vs. dickinson at the auditorium on saturday, im convinced he is a very good shooter and will play a big role in minot's success

Hanstad from Dickinson can shoot.
Sophmore Danny Fischer can shoot from Jamestown.
Junior from Turtle Mountain Jr Gunville can shoot extremely well.

I have watched Britan Eisenbeis in a few games..and he has a smooth release and soft touch..thus far leading the West in percentage..even though he doesnt attempt many..also leads WDA in ft percent...Must have some shooting skill

The best 3 point shooter in the region is Tom Fraase of Century he has such a pure stroke from beyond the arc

tom fraase for century. his three-ball is absolutely terrific. the rotation on it is perfect. without fraase stroken the three's, century would score half as many points.
