If anyone is interested in watching some good basketball this weekend you should head on down to Wahpeton for a tourney this weekend. The 4 Mr. Basketball candidates (Mertens, Erdmann, Tivis, Voth) are all in it and playing on the same team! Should be exciting....

What tournament is it?

It is a select team tournament.

Players from around the state are selected and invited to participate. They are divided up and play exhibition tournements for college recruiters.

It's some of the best players in the state.

the seniors to be who were Invited were

Lorenz,Kramer,Lake,Bakkum,Schmitz, Heck, Qvale, Fridley, Becker, Wilhelm, Kick, and some more but those are just the headliners.

Lorenz, Kramer, Lake, Bakkum, Wilhelm.... v.s. the mr. b ball candidates... should be a great match up... 11:00 am April 15, NDSCS say the mr b ball candidates win tho...

I heard that the team with Mertens, Erdmann, and Tivis were 3-0 this weekend. The first play of the first game was an alley-oop to Mertens which he t hrew down.... They won the first game by 20 some and the other two by ten I believe....

these kids werent invited or picked by special order... it was if you wanted to play you could go play...

the seniors werent picked, but there were special teams playing in it that were selected to be in it, like seniors and juniors to be next year.
