I wouuld go out on a limb and say that there are more kids 6' tall that cant dunk than those who can.  I dont classify a dunk as a layup and then grab the rim, you have to throw the ball threw the rim.

Some of the posts in this topic are from a while back.  I know there is a list of people who have had their IP addresses banned for other, more serious, rule violations.  So that's probably there hasn't been as much bragging lately.

I guess obviously best dunker has to go to Qvale for the simple fact that he could be called "Dunker with the biggest advantage"  However, I've heard That the Maurer kid can hop, but If you see Tate Kick, he's the real deal, not too tall but short enough to make them look good.  Saw him drive down the lane against Bismarck with what the crowd thought was gonna be a finger roll, and he turned it into a real nice one handed pound.  Could literally drive down the lane and dunk at will if he wanted but I think he's a little set off by the thought of missing, Oh and he may not be able to drive down on Qvale at will, haha

I heard Shaun Knife from Belcourt can get up. . .the paper said he had a slam against Mandan. . .and some people watching the Williston game said he attempted a one hander on Qvale but missed it. . .i don't know if it's true, but i just heard

Knife did have a dunk on an open break against Mandan.  It lit a fire under his team and the crowd.  The attempt against Williston would have been nice if he would have made it, but his team was down by double digits when he tried with less than a minute to go.  But knife can definately dunk the ball.

I would rather watch a guy that is 6' jump up and dunk, then a guy that is 6' 11'', Mauer can sky, just because he can't throw one down in a game doesn't mean he isn't a good dunker.

In north dakota there are no real legit dunkers with exception of qvale with 2 or 3 a game.  In bigger states just about every team has kids that can dunk the ball without having to have a fastbreak or a special play ran for them.  As far as fastbreak dunkers I would have to say Kick, Qvale, Knife, and Mauer each can raise up and throw it down.
