that is a heck of a game...... that stinks for mandan, they were a good team, but i guess only 4 of the 5 good teams get to go

Mandan played a great game. Battle of defenses it sounded like. Mauer had some much needed steals that kept Mandan in the game, good game, wish i could have seen it in person.  there was a lot of ruff play on both ends nothing that made the game unfair qvale had a very good game and schmitz stepped it up belohlavek and hoff had very good games and maurer ended his career with a dunk

I thought the refs were kind of bad tonight.  I guess it's a foul now to guard someone, yet JB can swat all he wants up and down the court.  In the end it came down to Belohavek's free throws and he missed 2 (I think it was) of them.

Also, I heard Bismarck beat Dickinson 70-55.

I never blame myself when I'm not hitting. I just blame the bat and if it keeps up, I change bats. After all, if I know it isn't my fault that I'm not hitting, how can I get mad at myself?

So I guess Bismarck defeating Dickinson by 15 pts. would be the "upset" for WDA this year?

Edit:  I guess it's not really an upset since it's 1st and 2nd seeds.

EDC championship will be huge because the 2 seed from the east does not want to play Minot!

the 2nd seed wouldn't play minot...............they'd play williston

1st east  --  4th west

2nd east  --  3rd west

I think whoever plays Minot from the east is going to have a tough time, they are playing really well right now and are shooting lights out

EDC is playing semi's today and finals tomorrow, so they won't know until Monday night.  South, DL, West Fargo and Shanley were first round winners.  So Minot's opponent will come from that group.

Best game at the WDA was the Minot-Mandan game on thursday that went into double overtime.

I heard the game on the radio and it sounded really exciting. Wish I could have been there to see it.  From what I heard, Dan Pfau was the main reason Minot won that game. Good for him.

I honestly think Minot could have beaten BHS DHS or WHS that game..... They were on fire.  Not saying this because im a "mandan guy".  But anyone that was at the game would agree.  Minot seems as though they lived by the treeball in the WDA tourney.  Especially against Mandan.. just so I dont get flamed Elgie did his part also....

ya minot is shooting so well right now.  if they shoot like that this weekend, I honestly think they have a chance at taking it

Not brothers.  Their fathers are cousins.  I think that game plan sounds good but lets see it done.  BJ went off on Minot in the first meeting.
