I think it will come down to the West Fargo at South game on Thursday.  the winner of that game will be the #1 seed,  the loser could drop to 4 or 5,

I think South will win at Central, giving them a 11-4 record, Red River will beat DL, making them 10-6 and DL 10-6,  North will beat Shanley, making North 7-9 and Shanley 10-6,

so if Im right it will be

South 12-4

Red River 10-6

West Fargo 10-6

Shanley 10-6

Devils Lake 10-6

Wahpeton is 8-8

I dont know who has the tie breakers on each other of the teams that are 10-6,  the EDC should be a great one!! too bad its in Grand Forks, the crowds were terrible last year!!  put it in Fargo and the BSA or Dome would be rocking!!

Definately the BSA or the Dome the Alerus is terrible, the Dome not much better but students are closer to the court, BSA is probably the best plus Dome and BSA get much bigger crowds.  Sorry Bruins but on thurs. GO WF! it should be a battle.

If it finishes out like what you are saying Devils Lake holds the tie breaker over West Fargo and Fargo Shanley and if they do lose to Red River by 6 points or more Red River will have the tie breaker over Devils Lake

the way i see it, anyone can win the EDC tournament. its just too balanced, so seeding wont make a real big difference in the middle.

North will not beat Shanley. Just a hunch. Your other picks are right, though the WF-South game could go either way.

The Fargo Civic would be great but I dont think it would hold enough people for the boys tournament,   what they should do is like they did a few years ago and have the girls play at the civic and the boys at the BSA then have the Championships of each at the BSA... that was 2 years ago and I think it worked out great!!  just my thoughts.

i don't know about that. IMO the BSA is a god-awful place to watch a basketball fan, especially if you are a student. granted the fargodome isn't much better, but when you put the two up against the Civic center they pale in comparison. in my mind, the more games they can get in the civic the better, especially if it was packed.

Everyone agrees the civic is the best place to play palyers and fans, but the NDHSAA is concerned about the money and the more people they can get to come out to the games the better.  The Class B Regionals are held at the civic, but for class A i think the BSA is the best option.
