Bismarck over Belcourt by 2....and Mandan over Minot by 8
It's a round ball and a round bat, and you got to hit it square.

Mandan will be playing without Andy Hoff due to him having "mono"... He a pretty big factor on the Braves team... Should be interesting

This proves how even the west is.  Congrats Minot for taking out the number one team.

Wow..with Mandan And Bismarck tied again at 10-3, Does this mean if Dickinson beats Jamestown tonite, they will be 11-3 in the wda and the new number 1??

The game was played at Minot High's gym.  I wish they would play more games there.  It is a good high school BB atmosphere, and was an even contest throughout.  Elgie took over the game in the second half, as he can sometimes do.

Both teams seem to be a mirror image of each other.  Neither has alot of height, but both are agressive on defense, and have good ball movement on offense.

From Minot's standpoint, it was the kind of game they are capable of playing when they get their act together.

I usually keep track, but I didn't tonight.  My guess is, somewhere over 20.  The dude is flat out good.

Anybody have anything to say about the Bismarck @ TMCHS game....Did anyone really believe the Braves would win.....Belcourt played a heck of a game and look like they are about to bring it together.  It doesnt matter where the game happens if you beat a team like Bismarck you deserve some respect.  Congratulations Belcourt.....No excuses about the ref either please....the fouls were all pretty well deserved....The Braves played great and deserve the win and some respect now

It was an even game thoughout, but Elgie played an amazing game.  He was all over the place on both ends of the floor.  Belohalvek had on off shooting night, but minot played well against him.

Holy cow, I mean one can see it be to a lil different between the teams. I donno if Mandan fouled alot at the end of the game or not, sometimes that makes a difference in that, but still, just a little bit odd.

Today just shows how deep the west is.  There are 6 teams that are capable and only 4 spots.  Minot can be a real threat if Elgie plays at the top of his game.

idk if they did or not but i just talked to one of the players and he said he fouled out with 12 minutes to go, and the fouls were 25-10 so im not sure how many of them came in the last couple minutes. 25-10 thats loopsided to me and im a hockey guy.

He also said minot didn't get a foul callled on them in the second half till 8 mins left the fouls were 9-0 at that point.

Benz,mauer,morrell all fouled out

Yea... thats interesting. From a basketball guys standpoint, you hate to see that happen, if the refs influenced the outcome of the game.

Minot didnt get there 1st foul in the 2nd half until there was 8 mins left in the game and Mandan had 8 or 9 against them already..so im not to sure if it was fair or not but good game by elgie he had key offensive boards tonight and belohavek was plain and simply off
