thats a good question....but is it because dickinson has the better overall record or doesn't that matter? Mandan is also in first place in the WDA.

Mandan definately deserves it, they are playing the best basketball in the state right now, and maybe even in the entire WORLD!

A 9-4 team beats out 11-2 and 10-3 teams?? It really doesn't matter anyways...because Mandan is playing good ball right now. But after Dickinson beats Williston on Friday, they will be #1.

World?? Not even best in the Dakotas...There is about 4 teams in South Dakota that would crush them.

Class AA: Brandon Valley and Sioux Falls Lincoln, maybe Sturgis but they're in a weaker conference.... I even think Little Wound in Class A would beat em...their kids can flat out shoot the ball.

hmmmm south dakota basketball on north dakota preps?

the poll goes like this: the 6 vote casters rank the top 5. a first place vote is worth 5, 2nd is worth 4, so on so forth. add up the points and u have ur poll. mandan with 26 pts got 2 first place votes and 4 second place votes. dickinson got 4 first place votes and somehow got a fourth place vote from someone. my issue is with mandan moving from 4th to first. sure they got big wins, but all were at home and by slim margins. hopefully this momentum carries, otherwise there could be problems

u could argue that mandan should have been ranked higher than 4th be4 that though but that is the past
