Mandan @ Belcourt

Just wondering since there's so much talk about Belcourt this year.

Ill take Mandan by at least 15. I know the refs dont want visiting teams winning there and the gym is pretty much a dungeon. But Mandan will pull away. Belcourt is not as good as people are talking and for what I could see at the BHS Belcourt game the team looked like they played for individual statistics not the Win or loss. Everytime someone would get the ball they would just jack up a 3. That was early in the game too not at the end because they were down.

The fact that it is in Belcourt I thinik it will be close. At Mandan i wouldnt hesitate to say Mandan but in Belcourt no one really wants to play there. I think it will be close with Mandan pulling ahead in second half.

Im saying Belcourt by no more than 10. . .why i say this is because it's in belcourt, and every team plays good at home, belcourt by ten in it's dungeon (so it's been called)

I'm going to say Belcourt just because im a Belcourt fan. Belohlavek will get his points, the braves are going to have to find some way to stop the rest of Mandan's attack which is mainly Benz and Hoff. Some interesting match-ups in this game. Boswell will be a difficult player to guard during this game. Belcourt in a close one is my opinion.

Pletan and Riedinger will shut down boswell the only players to worry about is houle and knife do they shoot well at home?

I have a friend who plays for belcourt and i watched the dicksinson game given it was at belcourt but dickinson is a better team than mandan an belcourt lost by 2 or 3 and i was really impressed w/ how knife played him and behavolek should be a pretty good battle both and play on both sides of the floor but I would say belcourt because its at their home

i dont think belohlavek will guard knife more likely houle i think benz will get knife for height

reidinger and davis
behlolavek and gable
hoff and houle
benz and knife

well this is my best guess since belcourt has no one big to guard hoff and benz unless grant starts then houle will be on behlolavek

actually Belcourt should play zone with their matchup problems

Let me explain, We have a Belcourt team that shoots threes none stop. That being said if there on meaning tht shoot like 40 or 50 percent they will win in a close one. But if they are off officials on there side or not their going to get stomped in an embarrsing loss.

I think what he means is that if Belcourts shoots 40-50 percent at the 3 point line they win a close one. If the don't they lose big time whether the refs are for them or not. Thats my guess

Belcourt doesn't shoot anymore three pointers than any other team in the state. Most of their points come off of the break. They don't have a post presence unless you consider Houle and Knife one for the little time they spend in the lane. I believe that Beclourt's press will help them win the game.

after the game i want your comment OSNAP and i don't want to here the ridiculous comments i hear in this place about belcourt and there refs the refs are just as bad anywhere in the state and we all know that i am not even from belcourt and i know this is bull i have watched teams from all over the state and seen the same reffing in just about every school so if u think mandan is so good we will see tonight if they win i will give them there proptsif not then you and all the other people in here should not be saying what you say about the reffing in north dakota class A basketball
