Possible Scoring Record

I was at Fargo Shanley V. Saint Mary's Central, which was an entertaining game. Jacobson seemingly scored at will. I decided to delve in to it a bit, and it seems VERY likely that he will be Class A's first 2000 point scorer. I currently have him at 1424 points, meaning he would need to garner another 576 points over his next 22 games, or average 26.2 points per game. He is currently averaging 27.3. This will be interesting to watch develop over the course of the season.

I wonder if Phil Jackson and/or Paul Presthus exceeded that total back in the 60's. Don't know, just wondering if anyone else does.

What did Boschee score? Is he the current class A leader?

I don't have my hoopster with me, but I believe Boschee is the leader and he has 1996.

It's a shame Hanstad got hurt because with his talent, he deserved to be the first 2000 point scorer.

1686 points is what I currently have him at, with 12 games remaining, he'd need to average slightly over 26 points for the rest of the season to get to 2000.

I currently have Anthony Jacobson at 1911 points which would mean he basically has to score 30 points in all three games in the state tournament to reach 2000 points. Any thoughts if he will do it or not?

In my opinion, he will score 30+ points against SMCHS, but the dominant juniors from SMCHS will win the game.

I feel Aj will have a good game and score 30+ so i have a feeling he may be able to break the record during the state tournament. Will be good to see. He is a very good kid and he deserves it.
