venue in in 2014

I heard on the radio yesterday that "State" will be held in Minot in 2 years. Is that true? If so, what venues?

Minot State Dome would be one...the other I would think would be the Minot Auditorium for consolation games. Its just a guess though

That would stink if people had to drive everywhere.

No. If you've never been their before, that gym is barely big enough for Ryan's fan's. It just simply isn't big enough to a class "A" tournament atmosphere. Not even a consolation game.

Nope never been in the Bishop Ryan gym...just Our Redeemer's and Minot State University's Dome.

Yeah it wouldn't work at Ryan. It's slightly smaller than Our Redeemer's. I'd have to assume that they would use the Aud. Didn't people have to drive this year or is the BSA closer to the FargoDome than I think?

This year the facilities were close enough to walk to.

If the Minot State Dome is used, they would probably have to pull out the bleachers on the upper floor. Agree?

I don't think they would have to necesarily, because they did at the B last year and they weren't very full. And doesn't the class B tourney have much better attendance than Class A.

They might not have to but they will because they always do for state tournaments. At the title game of the B tournaments, they'll fill about the first 8 rows running the length of the court.

Lets just keep our fingers crossed that KFYR will actually get it together and buy some HD cameras. And please for everyones sake, get some commentators that know something about basketball. LT and Hammer are completely out of touch.

Agreed. They need to go, along with John Cole. So basically, they need a complete overhaul of the whole broadcast.
