Are you kidding me Mandan!? The west was embarrassed at the State A this year, never would have thought the Huskies would knock off a very good Demons team and Mandan's Devin Coyle shooting 3-21!? If I'm a teammate on the Braves squad I'm thoroughly disappointed in a semi-final game turning into a poor-shooting one man show. I understand he is your best player, but you need to find another way to win when that's the type of performance you are having. Good Luck in the 3rd place game I guess.

not to rain on your parade, but it was the first one in over 40 years. however, great performance by both teams in the game. shanley was lighting up the first half and slowed down a bit in the second, but great job to both teams it was fun to watch

The argument is on Gregory as a coach, not the school of Red River. You can't blame him for what happened before he got there.

5 years at Red River 2 state appearances and 1 State Championship. Considering before he was there they only made state twice from 1988 to 2007. He started at Red River in 2008 I believe.

What a great State Championship game! The first half was amazing! Both Jacobson and Arvidson were playing great. I have never seen such a high percentage on 3's in my life! (from hs guys) Arvidson's running layup in the second half was an amazing play too!

The paper said the defense could not keep up with Arvidson but I thought the Shanley defense was quite good. Arvidson just jumps so high so unless a 6'6" guy is guarding him they will not affect his shot much.

I am so proud of those kids for overcoming adversity and pulling out the win! Good job Riders!

Congrats to Coach Gregory on the most successful season EVER at RRHS for boys basketball!

After like 15 years, it seemed like the Fargodome may have finally figured out a good basketball configuration. They moved everything over one section, so all the stands were much closer to the floor than I remember in the past.

Like, on the side with the permanent endzone seating, the media table was right in front of that, and then it was the floor. In the past, there was a big wide walkway BEHIND the media table in front of the seats. Not so this year. Then on the other side, they had the temporary seating moved up pretty much right behind the benches. There was a narrow walkway, but that's it. It seemed to me like a much better atmosphere than in the past.
