kist and kielpinski or thilmony thilmony is a great player but he isnt intimidating and keeping shots away from the rim so it will be easier to score when your 6 7 and 6 3 kids are replaced with 5 10 kids

i think that DL has gotten way to much hype from all of you guys. they traveled to fargo south last week and got beaten handily by 21.  fargo south shouldnt be overlooked by anyone they're 15-2 right now and are rolling. but they have two tough games in north and west fargo coming up. they dont have any standout players but can all play together and find ways to score

i think south is very good i believe they were the only other team to beat mandan

yeah i was at the game... south was up by 12 w/ 2 minutes left and mandan made it a one point game. but south came out on top by 6

i agree that DL isnt all that great. the top two teams in the east are easily south and west fargo

agreed last time south and west fargo played it was 61-60.  south on top.  always a good game.  but they are easily the two best teams in EDC sophmore play.

who are the best players on these teams?

west fargo. easily jason mach and mike benson. they both play jv and varsity tho. on sophmore wf has cole mapes, some #50 kid who got pretty big and is athletic. as much as i hate saying it allen neir is decent.  Fargo south has andy schell a stud point gaurd, isaac karley shoots outside well. richard kazane can score about anyway you can think of hes unorthodox but it works. brandon fisher big guy with range. and clark everson who plays 1 half with them and 2 jv, hes a stud and is more athletic than anyone on a sophmore court.

i want to see this kid go up against zack jacobson from bis to see who is more athletic but ya everson sounds like a stud

yeah i pitched against jacobson this year in traveling baseball. fastest base stealer i have ever seen.    he seems just like a natural athelte. i think 2 years back we ran into a traveling team with him on it and they beat us by 30. those 2 going at it woulud be a site to see.  can this kid dunk?

i have never seen zack dunk but i heard he could very easily last year how about everson?

he can get up but i in person have never seen him dunk it but itd be close.

You should see how easy Bryan Kielpinski can dunk. Oops himself off the backboard, 2 hand dropsteps. standing reverses pretty good stuff for a freshman.

Mandan, I only said him because he plays on the sophomore/jv teams.  I should also add he is about 6 7 before you are wondering about the 6 1 kid who is doing this stuff.

I have seen him throw it down hard two hand.  He also is good at blocking shots.  He is a big presence in the post.

Brian is a strong presence in the post. He learns the game quickly for a freshman playing soph/jv all the time. He seems to get better with every game.

Ya Minot won, they were up like 44 - 26 at half and then came out the second and just kinda coasted for the victory by about 20 -25 or something like that.

DL beat west fargo tho

i believe so. im wondering how it works though..do all 9 teams come or will jamestown(last place) not come beings im sure theres not a "play-in" game
