Tornadoes!

This has been deemed the worst tornado season EVER...and we are only entering the month of June.

Several towns have been heavily damaged or destroyed this year in the United States (Tuscaloosa, AL; Joplin, Missouri; Dunning, Arkansas; Minneapolis, Minnesota; St. Louis, Missouri; Springfield, Massachusetts; along with many in the state of Oklahoma near OKC).

Will it continue? All signs point to a large tornado outbreak in the coming summer months.

I don't think there were any tornadoes, but the winds Monday evening were the strongest I can ever remember. It sounded like a train. Huge trees torn out of the ground. We had 3 sets of metal bleachers flipped and damaged (maybe destroyed). One of our dugouts on our baseball field was found near the Canadian border. It was a crazy storm. I live in the Red River Valley btw

There was one reported and surveyed area that did have a tornado in this region (Park Rapids...EF1 - weak). They are still deciding on the Walcott and Fargo areas to see if their may have been small embedded tornadoes in the storm that went through around 8:30 and 9:00 on Memorial Day.
