We start the season off with a loss to a good SEC football team. Andre Woodson is primo! He completed everything he threw and we couldnt stop it, plain and simple. We turned it over to much and they capitalized.

IOWA STATE (0-1)

[color=#000080]Jason Scales got the running attack started as Star QB- Brett Meyers went down early, after a red hot start. Scales banged his way for over a 170 yds and carried the offense throught the ball-game. (FR) Austen Arnaud filled in for the injured Meyers and made some big plays to keep drives alive(including a couple of TD strikes). East Lansing is a tough place to win, and I think our team got a real boost there today.

HERES WHAT IS FIXING TO OCCUR:

Im going to get thru this 1st season, I was way ahead of the schedule when I started this on here(Trial Run of sorts). I will post scores and awards at the end.

SEASON #2: 1. Recruiting (Real player add-ons)

2. Full coverage of each game as it un-folds (video and pictoral included)

3. In-Depth Coverage each week in Pre-Game Post

I know alot of people do not follow the Dynasty's on these boards, I will do it anyway. Its a hobby of sorts, I have some good ones on other boards covering Baseball-Basketball. I decided to put my Football one on here, since I frequent it alot during the HS football season.

Iowa State 9-5 (Big 12 North Champs)

Above Post has schedule and results

Synopsis: Our first Goal accomplished in re-shaping the Program (a winning season). The Talent was here and we knew that, just getting production out of it was the key. We return alot of good players on both sides of the ball, and expect nothing short of what occured this season. A solid recruiting class will bolster a few posistions, though we have a ways to go in the big-picture.

*Coach Bloodworth's First Recruiting Class Rated #23

*A couple of things you will  notice right off the bat is the amount of (RS) red-shirts we were able to give. We (RS) most of our top recruits and that is a good sign. They would have pushed for playing time, but a year of seasoning will make them all the more effective come next season.

*Transfer: Munir Prince (Notre Dame) Has to sit out a year, and can use a red-shirt for the year. Luck of the draw there as he will be a dynamic addition to this football team when eligible.

*Were building strong Athletic Foundation and shouldnt have a let down of Wins in the process. We had an amazing turn-around in Year 1 of the Re-Build.

(QB) Jake Locker * Offensive Impact Player

NCAA Rating: 88 OVR

Locker has waited patiently for his first start as a Husky. He was the #5 rated HS Quarterback in the country, outta Ferndale,WA. He has great arm-strength combined with good accuracy.

Image

(LB) Chris Stevens * Defensive Impact Player

NCAA Rating: 91 OVR

Stevens led the Huskies Defense on the field all last season with 85 tackles (11 for loss) and 5 sacks. He is considered a early round pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.

The 2007 Washington Huskies struggled to say the least. They ended at 2-10 and a team that really underachieved. They return alot of upper-classmen and will be really dangerous. We wont take them lightly, that can be assured!

Ames,IA (Jack Trice Stadium): The Iowa St  Cyclones got off on the right foot with a victory in the 2008 Opener. The Pac-10 foe Washington Huskies put up a good fight. Late in the first-half RJ Sumrall grabbed a punt and took it 65 yds to the Huskies 2. Austen Arnaud would then hit Sumrall for a TD pass that sort took some of the that fight outta the Huskies. The Cyclones would cruise thru the 2nd-half playing great defense (as expected) and getting their first victory in 2008 23-6.

*Record Breaker: Travis Ferguson hammered Washington QB Jake Locker all-day. He collected 4 sacks (Iowa St single-game record). You will see with the link the record breaking sack at the bottom on Action Replay.

I will create a few. I use Rivals.com(starting with the commit list) and then use the undecided players to fill in any teams Top Recruits.

do you do anything but play this game and post the game recap on preps??  not only that but you give names to every player?  how much time does it take to name all of them?
