I don't think you can judge that right now. The PS3 just came out and the games for it don't show any graphical improvement over the 360. It'll take a while for the PS3 to begin showing what it is capable of. And it better be something really good and not just better graphics for 200 dollars more. Right now the 360 has to be better. It has more good games because it's been out longer. Only time will tell.

P.S. I'd take a Wii over either of them.

PS3 only has about 25 games available now, if history is any indication the selection will be crazy very soon.  Also my son has a PS3 and I like the fact that it has a blue-ray disc player built right in.   It may cost $600, but Sony loses money on every console they sell.  A simple blue-ray disc player runs at least $800 alone.

Apples and Oranges, take your pic

the ps3 may not be dominant now but as the game developers begin to understand the software better the games and graphics will improve greatly.

as for paying $200 for the exact same thing, the premium addition of the ps3 was around $600 but it came equipped with br capabilities. a regular blueray player is around $800 so its a great deal.
free live with the ps3 is great and helps make up for the cost differential between the 360 and ps3.

each next gen console has some pretty big titles that im looking forward to but I would have to side with the 360 right now because of Halo 3 of course. The ps3 doesnt really have any launch titles or anything worth getting into down the road that isnt available on the 360 as well

i've played both systems and their graphics are exactly alike and the only differences are that the ps3 costs $200 more and the controllers are shaped different

also i prefer the WII

xbox 360 all the way. one main reason is because of the halo games. there is no other game that is more addicting that halo online.

N64, NES, SNES. Your choice. As far as I'm concerned the old-school systems still own the newer systems and their games.

Ocarina of Time, Super Smash Bros., Super Mario 64, Mario Bros., Mario Kart, Super Mario World, Starfox, Goldeneye 007, The Legend of Zelda, etc. The list goes on and on and on and on.

goldeneye and perfect dark were what my late high school and early college years were all about. i can thank my 2.87 high school gpa and my 2.0-ish gpa in my first two years on college on both of those games.

Besides the fact that it costs a fortune the PS3 is better than the 360.

360, I havent played the PS3. I know this , the  360 is very good. Ive been gaming since 1979 (Atari), and play only sports games. NCAA 07(2K College Basketball) and NCAA 08 (EA College Football) make it where I may not ever have to buy another one of those particular sports games!

The PS3 would be good if some games were actually made for it, and not that japanese crap, but for now I'm stickin with the 360 and hoping to buy one before the new grand theft auto comes out.

360s are junk, played mine for a year straight and got the 3 rings of death. Its happening all the time because of them overheating. I took it to a place to get fixed and they had over 500 xbox 360's they were working on. THey fixed it 4 me in 10 minutes for 30$. Its working pretty good now though. Now they have a 3 year warranty which is better ofcourse and if I would of waited I could of got htat. The PS3 is alot better as far as technical problems I would say. Just got the 360 for halo ofcourse.

The Nintendo Wii beats all of them.

The PS3 and XBox 360 only care about power and graphcs.

The Wii actually cares about making fun games. That's why the Wii is dominating the console market. Sorry, but Sony and Microsoft won't be able to keep up with Nintendo's holiday releases:

Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Super Mario Galaxy

You might not like these games, but they're going to sell big-time.

What does Sony and Microsoft have cooked up? The only way they can possibly outsell the Wii is if they cut the price even more.

Wow that wasnt the smartest thing i have ever heard. Do you really thing graphics and power doesnt matter?? I have a computer that runs better graphics then the WII and i have had it for 7 years!

The 360 and Ps3 will have more games come out cause Nintendo has always grabbed the younger population. There are more teens that play games then kids.

Also upcoming titles like crysis and Halo 3. So your trying to tell me that these arent good??? So other then the mario titles what does Wii have going for it?? I love the motion censor but its just not mastered its not the best yet they have lots of work to do till its perfect!
