Basically it seemed as if she went into shut down mode when Lachowitzer passed her and ran away from her just before the two mile mark; then the rest of the field started to catch her on the final 300 meter straight-away. She sounded like her breathing was quite a bit off as she passed by me somewhere around 250 meters to go...she just didn't have anything left.

about 200 meters, and that is because the course has always been long.

didn't seem to be that long when we measured it

state was 3.05(according to jamestown officials), so not much short. it was long two years ago when joash won, and normal the years before that
