my only question on these polls how is Alyssa Anderson ranked 6th in the Class B girls...she just destroyed the top 3 ranked girls in Cooperstown on Monday by 48 seconds!!

Agreed. I think that part of it stems from the fact that voting coaches use previous polls to vote in the current polls. Anderson wasn't even in the top 10 last week and was probably overlooked by a handful of coaches. To a much lesser degree from that same meet on Monday, four other girls finished in this order...

5. Liljenquist (GCC) 16:18 (fell from #5 out of the top 10)
6. Zink (Hills) 16:26 (#10 in the poll)
11. Kuntz (Velva) 16:56 (#7 in the poll)
20. Heisler (Velva) 17:24 (#8 in the poll)

...proving that these polls are for conversation and recognition more than anything.

I thought she was 6th or 7th in the previous poll.

Nope. I don't know if she took some time off or had a REAL bad couple weeks but wasn't ranked. She proved early this week that she is clearly the Class B girl to beat.

Last week:

Individuals
1Taylor Palmer (GCC)
2Sydney Kraft (Rugby)
3Chandra Yankton (Rugby)
4Kara Kuntz (Velva)
5Brittany Liljenquist (GCC)
6Alexis Woods (Parshall)
7Keisha Schock ( Washburn)
8Breanna Sherlock (Velva)
9Robyn Essler (Garrison)
10Kade Ross (Watford City)
