I doubt he is even in the top 10 for CC right now considering is 1600m and 3200m wasn't even fast enough to break into the top 100 last year. I'm not saying he can't be among the elite and be one of the better runners in the nation, I just don't think he is fast enough right now to be top 10.

Maybe so...but he is WAY ahead of anyone else in the State

Agreed. He has almost no competition in this whole state.

Leingang has no competition in class A, but in the Kiwanis meet Ken Wells of Parshall was very close to Jake only twenty seconds behind him

and Sether and Kashur both beet Wells at Becki Wells, and are both obviously class A

So are these predictions that Leingang will be beat? Sorry buddy but 20 seconds is a lot to make up on somebody in one month, especially when you're talking times under 16.

To say that no one can compete with Leingang is a very bold statement if you ask me. And if you ask me again, a lot of things can happen in a month.. Such as ( injuries, sickness, bad grades) It's easy to talk up the number runner, stop trying to make every other runner in North Dakota looking at this like there is no hope to beat this kid.

Okay, well unless leingang has something catastrophic happen he isnt going to be touched by anyone, no one is talking leingang up, look at his times.

Hey no one has been within 30 seconds of him in Class A (Wells of Parshall was within 20 seconds a few meets ago)...unless something happens to Leingang in the next month, no one is going to beat him at State.

Wells also fell in a hole at that meet and turned his ankle

Are you kidding me right now? We are halfway through the 2009 season!!!!!!!!

From the east, you got Harlow, Fischer, and Torrey, North has Shepard, West Fargo has Baltezore and Peterson and Johnson.
In the West, Century has Sether, and I'm sure other teams have good juniors and sophomores this year, but I can't think of them right now.
----Also---- watch Lukas Gemar from Moorhead next year.

But it is still wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to early to be talking about this.

Shanley-Oak Grove has Dana Naylor!

i guess you somewhow forgot the sophmore that has been running away with every meet in the state! jake leingang somehow missed your list, so either you're from century or have absolutely no idea what is going on in the state in xc!!

He mentioned him in an earlier post on this site...we all know about Leingang! This list was created Tue Sep 22, 2009 6:47 pm...so don't act like an (donkey) about it...do some researching before you make a stupid comment on here...
