What is going on at the ND State Girls Soccer tournament!! Both #1 seeds being upset by the #4 seeds!! Is it the Jamestown fields? Is it the weather? Is it over confidence on the #1 seeds? Whoa! This might send the tournament back to the days of pool play!

More confusion! CHS fails to win a game @ State! Defending Champion Fargo S loses to upstart West Fargo. Minot is in the Final! In fact, both #4 seeds are in the final! What planet am I on? Maybe the US has a chance to win the World Cup? Are the Vikings going to win the Super Bowl? Can anything stranger happen? This is the 2nd year in a row that both the #1 West & #1 East seeds lost in the first round.

Best player of the tournament without a doubt is Andrea Mueller from West Fargo. 4 goals and an assist against a Century team that had given up six goals total all season. Not to mention she then scored the only goal of their upset of powerhouse Fargo South in the semifinals.
