Throughout the 2009 year, South had 10 out of its starting 11 as seniors. There were also at least 4 other seniors who were subs as well. Usually, South would "re-load" with players from JV, but this year, the team is split in half. South should do pretty well, however. They do have one of their top scorers Matt Keim back, as well as one of their best defenders in Mike Levich. They also have some good juniors coming back. I'd predict them taking maybe 3rd in EDC, and doing decent at state.
As for Davies, they are too young and inexperienced, and I don't believe they'll terrible, but they won't be good. Ryan Christianson and Kyle Sorby are both very good, but after them, the talent really drops. If Davies does play a varsity season, then I doubt they'll even make it to state. But if they do play their season as JV, then they'll dominate.
