which players and teams do you think have a chance at winning state or finishing in top ten

Well Oak Grove will still have a decent team next year so they will contend for the State title; but this may be their final year to do so.

what bout players any ...that placed in the top ten or were close that could come on that are returning

hazen should win! i can only imagine that they have gotten better since last year, and they were really good last year soo im assuming they will take the title... those oak grove boys probably wont be too bad, but they wont be anywhere near as good as the last couple of years.. grovers, you had a good run!

i dont think it will even be close this year hazen should of blown everyone out 2 years ago in williston and did last year in fargo.. and they didnt lose anyone! who is goin to beat them?

individually i think erik collins will have a great year

Jared Kautzman from New Salem will be a sleeper. He has a new swing coach this spring. The same swing coach that helped Schultz win state in 07. Not saying that he will win anything, but will be a golfer to watch out for.

Hazen is going to win it hands down. They didnt lose anyone from last year and they have amazing freshman coming up. Hazen has four guys who could finish in the top ten, Conor Borud, Chad Marshall, Brady Hillerud and Cameron Dietz. They all play consisistently good. It's pretty hard to beat a team with 4 top ten finishers.

Peter Pomonis from Bismarck Century. He is a top notch athlete that did very well last season but had a bit of a rough state tournament. He worked at apple creek this summer and golfed at least 18 holes a day.

When Valley City goes Class B in 2010 they will absolutely dominate everyone and probably win it 2 to 3 years in a row

Hinsa are you stupid... last year they placed pretty good in some of there meets in Class A with 2 8th graders 3 freshman and a junior....so ill bet u right now in 2010 and 2011 they win state... and have 5 kids in the top 10

And nobody in Class B has young talent coming up? I think you highly underestimate the talent level of the elite teams in Class B golf.

ya i agree with preps12 cuz they were pretty good in class a and now class b its going to be state championship first year guaranteed

In my opinion leave valley city class A if they are doing so well there leave them there its stupid to have big schoolsgo to class b cause they have like four less kids than a different class a school. with that many kids in valley city's high school compared to the average class b school they should win it every year so just stop bragging yourselfs up u should win.

so there is 100 or 150 more kids in valley city high school than some of the smaller class b's thats still better than the in some cases 1700 more kids valley has to compete with. please!

Ya Jwall512 are u kidding me valley has like 100 to 150 more kids than some class B schools...and in class A some schools have like 1000 more kids so stop complaining budddy!
