Pool B - Hope-Finley, Kindred, Grafton and Fargo Jets

There will be six games both Friday and Saturday, starting at 9:00 a.m.

Sunday, the pools will cross over, with the fourth-place team from each pool meeting for seventh, the third-placers playing for fifth, the second-placers meeting for third, and the top teams in each pool battling for the title.

So it shakes out like this: Fargo Jets vs Washburn for championship
Grafton vs VC 3rd place game
Kindred vs LaMoure 5th place game
Hope-Finley vs Lidgerwood 7th place game

In pool B Grafton and Fargo Jets finished 2-1, Jets beat Grafton for tiebreaker. Kindred and Hope-Finley finished 1-2, Kindred beat Hope-Finley for tiebreaker.
Pool A is easy, Washburn 3-0, VC 2-1, LaMoure 1-2, Lidgerwood 0-3.

It's raining pretty good right now and I have serious doubts any games will get played, so there's a good chance the tourney won't get finished. The radar shows the rain letting up around 5pm, so maybe around 7 or 8 they could at least play the championship.

I've seen Fargo teams with the names Jets, Bombers, and Expos. Now I now the Bombers are the 16-17 year old age group. I'm wondering what's the deal with the other two? Are the Jets their main legion team? If so, what are the Expos? Another 16-17 year old group?

The Bombers are 16 yr olds. The Jets are kids that don't make Post2 there legion team, I guess the Jets may have a kid or two that wished not to play for Post2. Now the Expos are a team that was started last year to accommodate the Ernst kid from Fargo South who didn't want to play on Post2. By the way Washburn was awarded 1st place in VC trny, Sunday was rained out.

The Jets are mostly 16-17 year olds that are considered Senior Babe Ruth.
The Bombers are mostly 16-17 year olds are the Junior Legion team (they will be hosting the Mid-States Junior Regional the first week of August).

That's right I remember hearing about Ernst's family starting a legion program. So that's the Expos. The Bombers are junior legion and the Jets are senior babe ruth. And Post 2 doesn't have a team name?
