I think some regions already are double elimination. It wouldn't work at the state tournament because it has to fit in a three day period.
Why does it have to fit the three day period?

I think some regions already are double elimination. It wouldn't work at the state tournament because it has to fit in a three day period.
Why does it have to fit the three day period?
No NDHSAA state tournament lasts longer than three days. It wouldn't be fair to give one sport a double-elimination formation and/or extra days.
How wouldn't that be fair it would mean better games and a more exciting tournament.

Why does a making a tournament double elimination make it more exciting and make the games better?
