ELMHURST, Ill.--North Dakota State reliever Anthony Kliniske was named Summit League baseball Pitcher of the Week by the league office Monday, March 1.
Kliniske, a 6-foot-7 sophomore right-hander from Grafton, N.D., pitched 3 2/3 scoreless innings for a 10-9 victory in the second of three games at Lamar University last weekend.
Kliniske struck out the side in the bottom of the ninth inning after NDSU scored the go-ahead runs in the top of the ninth. He fanned seven of the 12 batters he faced and dealt Lamar its first loss in six games.

Lamar was previously unbeaten including a 13-7 victory over then #9th ranked Rice University. Congrats to AK!

...Former Harvey product Tanner Lorenz who plays at D1 Southeastern Louisiana is off to a good start. In his only appearance so far he has 1 2/3rd scoreless innings striking out 2 and walking 1.
...Former Langdon product Tanner Adam finished the weekend against Lamar for NDSU hitting .545 going 6x11 with a double a walk and 2 Ks in 3 starts.
