it brings a force to every base. just because you intentionally walk the guy in front of him doesn't mean hes not good alot of times its a coaching move to get a easier out to maybe just step on 3rd instead of throw all teh way to first.
there was obviously already a force at third if they intentionally walked to load the bases

i dont see the wood bats affecting james olderbach all that much. hes to good of a contact hitter and will hit the ball solid no matter what he swings
