Please post the seedings of the sectional tournaments.  Add your opinion on each team, best player on team, and record if you chose too. Thanks

section 7

1. steele 7-3 record i think, loses to jamestown, carrington, & harvey, a good team that hits the ball well, shwab, lang and bakkum are their only pitchers, solid defensivly

2. cooperstown 7-3 record, tie breaker goes to steele with the sweep earlier in the year, good hitters that make contact, pitching staff that throws a lot of strikes and a good solid team in the field

3. harvey 5-4 record, 1 game with jamestown to go next monday, solid pitching staff, can hit the ball when needed to, good defensivly

4. carrington 6-4 record, tie breaker to harvey, 3 hitters on the team, the rest are bad, couple good pitchers, and inconsistent fielding

5. jamestown 4-5 or 5-4 record, young team that makes mistakes, no real ace, and not the best of hitters

6. new rockford 3-7 record, young team, bad overall

should be a battle for the championship, what do you think pakkyzoo, you play for cooperstown?

This is what it will probably look like in Section 2-

1. Oakes

2. LaMoure or Edgeley

3. Edgeley or LaMoure

4. Lisbon

5. Linton

6. Ellendale

7. Cogswell

8. Wishek

Oakes has a great 1-2-3 pitching combo and Lamoure is pretty solid from top to bottom of the order.

Edgeley and Lisbon are probably the darkhorses and with a couple of good outings may be able to challenge for the top spots.

Section 5:

1. Velva-no sectional losses

2. Rollete- 3 sectional losses, 2 to velva, 1 to minot

3. Botno- 5 sec. losses, 2-velva 2-rollete 1-minot

4. Minot-5 sec. losses, 2-velva-, rollete-1, botno-1, DLB-1

5. Surrey-7 sec losses, velva(2), botno(2) rollete(1) minot(2)

6. DLB-7 sec losses, velva(2) botno(2) surrey(1) minot(1) rollete(1)

7. kenmare-#7 seed doesnt advance to section 5 tourney

the obvious favorite is velva, sleepers could be surrey and DLB. Minot could get lucky. should be an interesting section tourney. The section 5 tourney is in Bottineau this week with games starting at 10 AM on tuesday
