With league tournaments starting up pretty soon just give some updates on the tournaments

In the Mid Cass League tourney here are some results:

Washburn-Wilton-Center wins the 14 year old division of the Dickinson Coca-Cola Tourney this past weekend. They competed against Bismarck 1 & 2, Williston, Dickinson, Minot and Mandan.

Casselton beat Lidgerwood 16-2 in District 7 1st round game

District 4, Day 1

Day 2
(4)MPCG-9, (5)CV-6.......CV eliminated i think that was the score not possitive CV lost by 3 though

(2)Thompson-16, (4)MPCG-6........MPCG eliminated from district tourney

Day 3
(1)FS/HP vs. (2)Thompson............Thompson has to win 2 games

Casselton defeats Kindred 5-4 to advance to the state tournament

FS/HP is off to the state tourney again for district 4. Mayville will also be there from district 4 as the host team!

they won? it was minots 13 year olds that they played and got beat by 21 runs and i think that williston and mandan were 13 year olds too

I'm not sure what district it is, but Wishek plays Lamoure today, and the winner will play Lisbon in the championship. Wishek-Lamoure winner will have to beat Lisbon twice to advance.

Lisbon won their district.

District 3 is Midway-Manvel not just Manvel. Neither had enough for a team this year so they formed a co-op.

5 teams within a 1 hour drive of Mayville including the host. Should be a well attended tournament.

Since 2000, Lisbon has made 6 or 7 trips to state. My information may be a little off, but I believe 2 champioships. Runner-up twice in 2007 and 2008. They hosted in 2004 and finished 2nd or 3rd as well. Good luck Lisbon!

Lisbon was not at state in 2007. They must have been runner up in 2006 because 2007 was the year Casselton beat Lamoure.

Your right. It was 2006 when Lisbon finished 2nd when Enderlin was hosting. Thanks for the correction.

I am trying to put a list together for ND babe ruth champs. Help if you can.

When did it become individual towns being represented in the state tournament? Way back when I played it was like the Dickey-Lamoure All Stars.

What are the matchups for the first round? I dont know a whole lot about any teams besides lisbon...and from what ive seen of them they are a very talented team and i would think that they could compete for the title but then again they are the only team headed to state that i have seen play.

I believe it is in 2007 they did away with the all-star format. This is a much better format. I am sure there were numerous fights over who was and was not on the team when 5 players were able to be added.
