2009 State Baseball

2009 State Baseball

Postby A - Football Fan » Thu May 21, 2009 1:42 pm

So far this is what I have for the pairings. Please fill in the gaps as you have the info.

Game One

Region 1 (???????) vs. Region 4 (Grafton or Cavalier) 11:30 May 28th

Game 2

Region 3 (Dakota Prairie) vs. Region 8 (Shiloh Christian or Kidder County)

Game 3

Region 5 (Munich/Starkweather) vs. Region 7 (Bishop Ryan) 4:30

Game 4

Region 2 (Thompson or Hatton/Northwood) vs. Region 6 (Velva)

I didn't see exact time for games 2 and 4 but I would assume that they will be played 1/2 hour after the preceeding game.

doesnt Kidder County play Central Prairie this afternoon? and then winner of that plays Shiloh, with Shiloh only having to win 1 of 2?

I don't know much about any of these teams. Which game will be the best to watch in the first round?

DP and Shiloh should be an interesting first round game, considering both put there studs on the mound which i would expect to see the first day. Both are pretty deep at pitching as well.

H-N is about due to add another state title. They have the pitching on both sides to do it.

I see that Dakota Prairie is undefeated. Are they that good or do they come from a weak region....

From what I have heard they have a very strong pitching staff and are very good on defense and fielding. I also heard they are very good at batting but im not sure on this one...Shiloh is also undefeated so this should be an interesting match up. Both teams coming out with there best pitchers in Lamb (DP) and Lardy (Shiloh) im guessing, should be a fun game to watch.
