One out of region 2 is Benjamin Strand.

I second that. Most fundamental hitter I have seen in a while.

I would not consider Evan Gross one of the top hitters in the state. He may not even be the best hitter on his team. Someone that is a little under the radar but could be a very good hitter is Brody Voelker from MPCG.

I was not comparing Evan Gross to Brody Voelker but I would not say that Evan Gross is ten times better than him. I would say that Voelker is a better hitter than Evan Gross.

Cubsfan how many times have you seen Evan Gross play? I just don't think you can compare one player you have seen play once or twice to someone you've seen quite a bit. But I agree Voelker is underrated.

i agree that voelker is underrated i have seen him play as well, but he has a little way to go. Gross is a good fundamental hitter and his speed allows him to get hits out of routine ground balls.

I dont know what region it is but how about Blake Kaul from Washburn for a hitter as well as pitcher!
He is currently 17-22 .772 BA that is pretty unbelieavable!
He is also 3-0 on the mound he also has like a .8 era.

I agree, Blake Kaul has had an awsome season at the plate. Currently 23-28 and .821. Which is slighty unbelievable. That would be like hitting 75 pts. in basketball or scoring 10 TDs in a game

Unbelievable is right! You can't even hit for that kind of average in slow-pitch softball!!!!!!!

I think someone that deserves some recognition from region 2 is Tom Riskey. He is a major factor in Central Valley-Hillsboro's success.
