Horst is truely a great pitcher. He is going to be getting his shot at getting to his highest level soon. He isn't blowing guys away, but to put up strikeout numbers like that he's got to have some good pitches. Did he sign directly out of Iowa Western? Or did he sign out of a D1 program?

Neither. After Iowa Western he played at DII Armstrong Atlantic in Savannah, GA in the Peach Belt Conference.

Hmm, interesting. I did not know he went D2.
