in section 3 i think it's safe to say Thompson (7-1) will be the top seed and play MayPort (1-12) in the first round  the rest of the league is too close to call with the remaining 6 teams all having 4-6 league losses and two or more games to go

LaMoure is the obvious #1 seed. Edgeley, Linton, and Lisbon are all battling for the #2 seed. All three of those teams have 4 conference losses. Edgeley is done in conference play. Lisbon has one more conference game against Cogswell which SHOULD be a win. Linton has two more conference games; LaMoure tonight and a make up game against Oakes tomorrow. If Lisbon beats Cogswell and Linton beats LaMoure and Oakes, there is a 3-way tie for second.

I think the other seedings go something like this. I'm not positive though.

#5- Oakes
#6- Cogswell
#7- Ellendale
#8- Either Napoleon or Wishek, whoever wins the play-in game.

I'm not positive about the #5-#8 teams but I think this is how it should look.

Section 2 Seeds
#1- LaMoure
#2- Edgeley
#2- Lisbon
#2- Linton
#5- Oakes
#6- Cogswell
#7- Ellendale
#8- Napoleon/Wishek

If West Fargo wins one of their next two games they clinch first in section 1 and should do that. Enderlin will most likely win out and claim second and Kindred will finish third. After that I'm not positive until the very bottom.  Best gues at the moment: #1 West Fargo    #2 Enderlin   #3 Kindred   #4 Lidgerwood  #5 Fairmount  #6  Galchutt  #7 Hankinson  #8 Wahpeton  #9  Wyndmere  #10 Great Bend

And yes if anyone is wondering there are 10 teams in this section tournament and no play-in games for god knows why.

I'm still not positive on the exact seedings yet for region 2 but I can tell you that Linton beat LaMoure and Oakes so I think they have the #2 seed and with the loss to Linton Oakes has the #7 seed.

I think this is how it goes now...
#1- LaMoure
#2- Linton
#3- Edgeley
#4- Lisbon

Section 1 has been set.  No play in games are played so everyone TEN TEAMS!!!! has a chance at a double elimination.  This section is doing what is right and giving each team two games in a section tourney guarenteed.  It will take an extra day to complete but is fair to all  teams.  Next year  there is  a  possible realignment of sections.

#1 West Fargo -bye
#2  Kindred - bye
# 3 Enderlin vs. #6 Fairmount
#4 Galchutt vs  #5 Hankinson
#7 Lidgerwood vs #10  Great Bend
#8 Wahpeton vs # 9 Wyndmere

the 4 bottom seeds still have to play the early games that is why they play each other 1st.  Tourney starts on Monday the 30th

CV-Hills will be number 7 in section 3.  it looks like the bombers might get second.  Hope-Finley and Hatton 3 and 4 or 4 and 3.  Casselton and Gardner are tied for 5th with each having 1 game left.

Carrington turns out to be number one and undefeated in the section as Steele forfeits a double header ONCE again...Steele not cool...yet bakkum and shwabby remain undefeated with a negative ERA...Bakkum hasnt gotten out yet this season and Shwab has pitched four perfect games and 17 homeruns to go along with Bakkums 24 bombs too...

Section 3 should be a good tournament.  The tournament seeds won't mean very much, as just about every team has beat each other this year.  It's a very good, very competitive league once again.

must be competative if a team like CV who was highly ranked preseason in high school ball is the 7 seed

good one bisonman, seeing how schwab can't even play because hes too old, and bakkum is a way better player than u are, just because they cant get 9 guys together dosent mean u can bash their best players, and the senior athlete of the year...we'll see how the sectional tournament goes with carrington only having one maybe two good pitchers, that should be interesting
