Couldn't tell you what went on at the tournament...

My question is when did Velva stop playing in that tournament? That's a darn shame not to see them there. This is a great tournament.

they stopped playing 3 years ago because they already had a lot of tournaments and never had too much success there and i remember the last year there the coach got ejected from the grounds. coincidence that that happened the last year there? i don't know. you be the judge

We started the Velva - Surrey tourney which falls on the same weekend. Yes I got tossed by a ump but that didn't have anything to do with it. But if you want to come to a good tourney that lasts only two days and you still get four games with no time limit in give me a call

Don't worry about the tossing coach. Your predecessor had a few on his resume in his 30+ years of coaching. :D

Hope the field "renovation" there is coming along nicely. That place was my second home for many summers during my youth.
