Top Teams in each Section

Postby Number7 » Tue Jun 26, 2007 5:01 pm

Now that everyone has played a decent amount of games and is settling into the middle of their schedules,  who is at the top of each section's standings?

LaMoure is undefeated in section 2 so far, and only has one loss on the season to Grafton. I believe Edgeley has only one loss in the section, that coming from LaMoure.

LANGDON ARE AT THE TOP OF THEIR REGION AND HAVE TO BE NEAR THE TOP IN THE STATE.  THEY HAVE I THINK ONE LOSS SO FAR ON THE SEASON AND NONE WITHIN LEAGUE PLAY.

Was Hope-Finley missing players in the Lamoure Tournament?

Des-Lacs Burlington is pretty darn good.....if they pull it all together they will be really tough due to the fact that they have a lot of talent.

West Fargo Aces are 9-0 in Section 1 with Kindred, Lidgerwood, Enderlin, and Galchutt rounding out the top 5.  Neither team has less than 2 losses.  West Fargo split with Hope-Finley last week in two extra inning games that were kind of ugly by both teams.  Errors and shaky pitching caused for plenty of runs.  The two teams play again at Hope on Friday so it should be interesting to see how it goes.

It is very rare to see a team coached by Mark Frost to have fielding troubles.  Last year they were pretty solid defensively but were not a great hitting team and this year it is the exact opposite.

They have been shaky in the field in a lot of their games.  There has been numerous games when they have had 3 or more errors.
