Maybe. They already cancelled 4 innings of consolation. I saw that slow-moving curl of rain clouds coming into north dakota on tv this morning and I thought uh oh. Weather Channel has odds of showering every other hour all day. Maybe they should break out the whiffle balls and head to a gym. ;)

Eek! big, looooong storm cloud coming in from the east on the latest radar. Hopefully it stays northward. It could cancel the entire day if the whole thing runs through Mandan.

I am thinking that a Sunday finish isn't that bad of an idea.  Try to get in the first round games today and hopefully some consolation.  If it rains out the consolation, then you have 2 more fulls days hopefully to get it in.

looking at the radar i would be surprised if they got any games in today. maybe finish the thompson vs. munich game. if it happens that they have to play the semis, 3rd place, and championship game in the same day, what will that do to relief pitching scenarios?

from KMAV: "lighter rain, spotty rain" "maybe we'll get in a game or 2" "considering moving consolation games to another diamond."

At the rate they're going, they could play games at Jamestown tomorrow night. heh.

KMAV says "RAIN DELAY - ON HOLD UNTIL MAYBE AS LATE AS 6:00 PM"

(and more) "OR 10:00 AM TOMORROW - CHECK BACK LATER "

They might get a chance to finish the game in an hour or 2. A little break in the rain might brush by the field. There is a bigger break a few hours later.

It's odd looking at satellite. It's fine except for this thin strip that won't get off I-94. Bishop Ryan musta called in a favor upstairs.

Good.  If Sunday is available, use it.  Hopefully the rain doesn't show up this weekend.  Too bad they aren't playin in GF, the weather here is pretty nice for soccer.
