I edited the Harvey/Lakota/... scores into the first page over the weekend, but added today's schedule now.

Game 1 Hope-Page FS 5 Enderlin MV 3 Thorson for HPFS with a 3 run HR in the top of the 7th to put HPFS ahead for the win.

Game 2 Enderlin MV 5 HPFS 2

Game 3 Tuesday 5:00 winner goes to state tourney

Region 8 is postponed until tomorrow... first game will start at 1... then the winner will play steele at 3... and then at 5 if needed...

As far as I know, these are the alive teams in state tourney matchup order. Teams that have a loss to spare are in bold (clueless about Munich & Bottineau). CAPS = qualified

if the games can get in, i think harvey could possibly come back if they beat dp, its unlikely but it happended last year, but most likely lakota will be representing region 3 this year at state, they've played a good season

Teams get hot, and Finley-Sharon-Hope-Page has one of the best coaches in the state in Mark Frost.

Brooks Backes from Bishop Ryan threw his second consecutive No-hitter on monday against Williston Trinity. 15 k's and 4 walks. He did have one appearance inbetween a 1 inning save situation. So is it the compettion, or is he pretty good, or maybe both cuz i dont think anyone else has thrown a nohitter, in Region 7, except maybe against New Town cuz they are all freshman.

Do you actually think Lorenz will throw at all? Unless its a save oppurtunity?? He doesn't have the stamina built up and a college career ahead of him. I read in other threads that hes not 100%, that tells me he might not even throw this tournament at all. Maybe if they beat DP tomorrow.

krahler(5 innings), zein(2 innings), and weigult(7 innings) have thrown for harvey.
luehring (7),severson (4), frederick (10) and nichols (7) for DP.
my guess is that anybody could be throwing tomorrow for either team

i bet zein throws for harvey, then lorenz against lakota if they win, then krahler in 2nd game if they win 1st game, thats my prediction
