ricky bobby wrote:you just said you're at your best with either krahler or lorenz on the mound. well how are they the best with krahler if they lost 2 games he's pitched already.
they should have won both games against dp though, they just didnt have the intensity they needed, which they will have during tournament time while lorenz or krahler or weigelt is shutting them down

but they didnt win those two games and i am pretty sure who ever it is dp can hit the ball pretty good
im sorry but i dont think that the little kids dp has that hits slow pitchers will be able to catch up to lorenz...
hahaha... thats funny considering the fact that the little kids for dp ripped the weewee outta the ball vs. krahler whom youve talked up as " the best pitcher harvey has right now", and the sad thing is dps "little" kids have played what 2 years and harveys seniors have played there entire high school career and they are still hoping to hit the ball , and u keep sayin about harvey If they hit the ball, and WHEN they hit the ball... when are they gonna do it against a quality team?

and by the way has lorenz thrown against a quality team yet?
he threw against carrington and midkota, teams that have either beat or came close to beating lakota and dp

maybe we shoudl wait til the actual tourney comes.... that will really prove who is better... or we can just keep sayin who is better on here andthen not show it on teh field....

agreed and why dont we stop talkin like krahler isnt very good cuz the only reason he lost either game was becuz we didnt help him out at all.  i would like to see how many hits and earned runs he has given up in 3 starts

Here's an opinion that will get the arguments going. Ryan has a talented group of young athletes but they will get outcoached when it comes down to a tight game.

is that because they have blown their first round games the past two years?

No. just cause that happened 2 years in a row, doesnt mean it will happen this year, or every year that they make it to state

Just to muddle up the state picture more:
Friday, Surrey split 6-2 W and 1-2 L with Rugby.
May 3, Velva split 14-2 and 11-13 with Surrey.
May 4, Langdon split 0-2 and 10-0 with Bottineau.

I dont know if that has anything to do with coaching, especially looking at bishop ryans state tournament births with him as coach

yeah im thinking that coaching does have some affect on it, but not as much as you guys say it does. So pretty much what you guys are saying is that Bishop ryan's coach not cool! yeah thats what you guys are saying to bad he doesnt, the players just have to remember that if they want to win state then they need to play at the best they can.

My thing is..i dont care if bishop ryan wins state, yeah that would be nice, but if they make it farther then they did last year. then i think that would be good to

I think Bishop Ryan is good they have a deep enough pitching staff to go far and they are also young to give it a run next year.
