Region 7 tournament in Williston

anyone else thinks it is absurd to have williston host the region 7 tournament. DLB and Minot Ryan bring the biggest crowds because they are always the best teams. So by having it in Williston, they will lose substantial amounts of money because not as many fans will travel to williston. i'd like to hear other peoples opinions on this.

Yeah, and the other thing is that Ryan and DL-B seem to play each other in darn near every championship game, at least recently.

That means that Trinity Christian, the only team from Wiliiston will probably be out early and they won't have much for crowds the final two days.

Williston does a great job of hosting baseball tournaments, but having that regional there is just absurd.

i agree with you in saying that williston is a great place to have a tournament. but not if williston is not competitive and no other teams are in the area. by the way dlb and ryan are the only two teams to come out of that region and 5 years ago was the last time that one of them didn't play in the region championship.
