Brady Burchil from Hope-Page was their #1 starter and conference pitcher of the year as a freshman 3 years ago. He will do fine. It is not THAT big of a step up if you have some tallent expecially as a pitcher. You will have to learn how much more college baseball is structured compared to high school and the fact that EVERYONE is at or above your level of play, but if they can make those adjustment and go in with the midset that they need to work hard at their game they will do fine. Lorenz will definately fit in velocity wise as it is mostly an 82-86mph conference on average.

As you will see below lots of ND or very close to ND representation in this year Iowa Community College Athletic Conference post season awards. http://www.iccac.org

-----2007 All-Conference selections for DI (ICCAC is broken up into DI and DII)

Tyler Lundy- Minot- first team

Sean Potter- GF- second

Chad Berg- Grafton- second

Steve Kletke- Altona MB (15 miles from Cavalier)- second team

Tom Ebert- Fargo- Honorable mention

---DII---

Andrew Marek- East Grand Forks- 1st team
