well idk what everyone else thinks ....but after lorenz's pitching performance on thursday ...does anyone think he's still a good choice for player of the year?....

depends if its voted after or before te tourney.  ive hit off him quite a few times and he has always had trouble throwing strikes, so i dont know why people he think hes argueably the best int he state.  he throws hard thats it.  its not just the walks, he hit 4-5 batters too against velva

no....he threw hard but he was very inaccurate...and seemed to be a let down to his teammates.

sounded like he was rattled from the beginning of the game to the end...just couldn't bare down and get the job done...

bakkum wasnt very impressive during the fshp game...he didnt seem to have his stuff...but hey! everyone has a bad day.... he was also kinda crazy on the base paths.....but maybe thats his style?

that is his style because he is smart on the bases usually....he knows just how far to go so he can get pack and when he goes he knows its high school players so he puts pressure on them to make a play.

i guess that was true...idk how you can be mad if you dont get the award considering the other players that were up for it...you can't assume your gonna win an award like that..

your right... he was not impressive all tournament... he was awful on the mound the first game... tonight he was decent threw strikes but give a hand to velva... they hit him ... 7 hits and 6 runs...  but i think the senior player of the year should go to my boy tanner adam... flat out stud... tanner was the best baseball player in the state...

I left early but the VD player that made the all tourney team I belive were Justin Mack, Trenton Bruner, and Josh Weidler. Michael Mack was the young man that played for us but died during football this past fall.
