Class A All GO to State??

There are 11 class A teams, 6 west and 5 east. My question is why have a regional when 4 of 6 go from the west and 4 of 5 go from the east? Why not send all to state like AA does. Just seems to make more sense, comments?

Just to shoot some stuff out there.
1 At regionals teams might not need to stay over night.
2 11 or 12 team state teams will need to stay over night and there might be days you do not play.
3 Its nice to able to host a tournament. Might get picked for a regional not a state - motel space

Teams stay overnight at regionals too, some may not have to stay overnight at state either.
I know west regional was in Makoti and it was a joke. Rained and Rained... no tarps, no field crews, second string officials (umps) more experienced were doing class b regionals and it lasted for 4 days to eliminate 2 teams. The east played to eliminate 1 team! Just think it would be more efficient to go to the same format as AA since the same number of teams exist in both divisions.
