The 1996 Babe Ruth Champ was from Ellendale. They had 4 pickup players (2 from Lamoure, 1 from Lisbon and 1 from Oakes), only 2 of which played during the state title run. The 05 Lamoure team mentioned above had at least 1 pick up player who was a key part of that team and I assume that is the case for other teams before the pickup rule went away.

I only mention this because, unfortunately, we dont have a lot of State Titles in any sport so the rare one we have we are protective about. LOL.
