10 innings? What was his pitch count?

Not to bad of a pitch count for 10 innings, must have had pretty good control

Yeah LaMoure is studly... they got players, but lets see if they can direct their talent to a national championship. Anything less is under achieving.

Considering he has been left off so far I need to add Nathan Linstad from Midway-Minto to the list. Struck out 14 against Mayville last week. Is a 2 time all region selection. 2 hit Grafton in the legion sectionals and threw a complete game 5 hitter against Fargo post 2 last summer.

Linstad definitely deserves to be mentioned. His speed (high 70's-low 80's),good curveball and his ability to keep hitters off balance, make him tough to hit at the high school level.

What about up in Region 5 with Justin McCloud and Mark Lacroix?

Only had 5 K's but hit his spots well and used his defense really well letting them make plays and in the end of the game after giving up 2 runs he shut NCass down in the 8th 9th and 10th... Then Thielges got another clutch hit after a Mieklejohn hit and after Hodem moved Mieklejohn up.

Stemen got rocked Friday night against FSHP for 7 runs in 4 innings. Kid relies to much on his fastball. I personally wasnt impressed by how people said he threw hard. Talking to some kids they said it is the so called "grove speed"

Definitely not Stemens best game on the mound but in those four innings there were a few errors committed by his defense. He's had some great outings this year and is easily one of the better pitchers in region 1.

Errors? The first inning started with a lead off bomb, followed by a single, double, single, single...after 1 inning was 3-0....There was a lot of laced hits....the 1-5 batters (Ihry, Aberle, Storebo, Neva, and Foss) were a combined 8-13 off of him with 1 bomb and 7 rbis....Yes, granted he was getting frustrated on the mound due to the tight strikezone, Same with Foss. But when push comes to shove he didnt get the job done.

Hey we get it Ambition. You think the team you play for (FSHP) is really good, and Lamoure is garbage. Talkin smack on a thing like ND preps takes a lot of class.. please "ask your kids" about how much they think they are going to absolutely rock every "groove" pitcher they face.

I used to play for them 3 years ago....i happened to be in town for the game in hope between FSHP and LaMoure.....reading the former posts people are talking him up like he is the best pitcher around....IMO i dont think he is nearly as good as what ppl talk him up to be...ya he is decent...but he relies on his fastball to much which good hitting teams will rock because his fastball at tops is about (77-80) TOPS...And i never said FSHP is really good....They are good along with 4 other teams in that region (CC, LaMoure, Kindred and Northern Cass) all very evenly matched.

Bresnahan, Milbrandt are the only shut-down guys. Lamoure wont get anywhere with their pitching. Kyllo and HIll are good, better than Stemen I'd say. Honorable mentions.....Lindgren (E-MV) just because he's lefty, Strommen (NC), Lubbers (CC), Radermacher (CC), Storebo maybe but not all that impressive

Not just saying this because i am from FSHP but Storebo is about 3 or 4 in the region...that being said
1. Milbrandt (K-R)
2. Bresnahan (CC)
3. Storebo (FSHP)
4. Rodemacher (CC)
5. Kyllo (NC)

Guys that will have to step up in big games- Hill (NC), Lubber (CC), Foss (FSHP), Lindgren (E-MV)

IMO the lefty factor gives Bresnahan the edge. IMO!

Milbrandt hasnt given up an earned run in 29 innings pitched this year...that give him the edge. IMO!

Gave up one against NC on Tuesday, and Bresnahan throws harder. IMO!

It was UNEARNED....he doesnt have an EARNED in 29 innings pitched...Bresnahan may throw harder...Milbrandt has a lot better arsenal of pitches that are effective
