Region 6

1-3. Beulah, Hazen, Velva will compete for that spot to go to state. very evenly matched.
4. Central Mclean
5. Garrison
6. Max/Sawyer

i know some town, maybe Sawyer, will play a JV schedule and come into the Region tournament as the 7 seed. i dont know if it was approved by the region. they would be allowed to play 6th graders, and i dont know if the other coaches wanted to play high schoolers against 6th graders in the tournament. if it happens top 2 seeds will get a bye and not have to play in a play-in game.

Region 2

1. Thompson
2. Hatton-Northwood
3. Midway-Minto
4. Larimore
5. MPCG
6. Central Valley

This might not end up being the final regular season standings but I think that any of the top three teams can make it to state out of the region. I also think that the bottom four are very similar to each other than when Nathan Linstad is pitching.
The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack of will.

Region 2
1. Thompson- Return good experience and have a very strong coach staff.
2. Hatton-Northwood- Tons of experience returning and good pitching staff.
3. MPCG- They return five kids that have starting experience off of the fourth-place team in state. That should help a lot.
4. Larimore- Decent amount returning with some decent pitching back. Could make a run.
5. CV-Hillsboro- They return a nice chunk back. Like last year, they should be very competitive.
6. Midway-Minto- Not a whole lot of experience returning and a new coach. But Linstad is definitely an x-factor.

Region 5 Bishope Ryan, Bottineau, North Star and Rugby are the favorites. Bottineau has better hitters and better pitching then the other teams. Ryan is young and rebuilding in a way but they always have a solid team and North Star has Hagler and Grandie and if people dont no they are good at baseball to! Bottineau is the fav in this region though

Region IV

#6 Cavalier High School---incredibly young
#3 Drayton/St. Thomas/Valley-Edinburg--could be 1, 2 or 3. Do they have enough pitching?
#5 Fordville-Lankin/Park River---incredibly young but not as young as Cavalier. Will be solid next year
#2 Grafton High School---could be 1,2 or 3. Are they deep enough? Good talent at top.
#1 Langdon--could be 1, 2 or 3. Senior dominated team. New coach. Enough pitching?
#4 North Border---again comes down to pitching.

Top 3 and Bottom 3 are interchangeable
Region 2
1.Hatton-Northwood- very solid looking right now
2.Midway-Minto- depends if they show up to play
3.Thompson- just needs to put it all together

4.MPCG- not really sure
5.Larimore- not going to blow anyone away, but could steal some of the closer games
6. CV-H - another team that you just cant tell how they will play

1. Please learn how to spell...it doesn't take much to spell out the words

2. I think its a 4-team horse race...however I wouldn't put it past any of the other teams to pull out an upset.
