Lets hear your thoughts on Region 1 this year

1A. Central Cass (take your pick with the top two teams in this region)
1B. Kindred-Richland
3. Enderlin-Maple Valley
4. Northern Cass
5. Lamoure
6. FSHP
7. Hankinson/Fairmount (new team to the region dont know much about them)

I think Central Cass and Kindred-Richland might be the two best teams in the state.

Hankinson/Fairmount used to be in the region then for a handul of years didn't have a team. This being there first year back you can't expect too much, but you never know. But yes this region is going to come down to CC and K/R. E/MV could make a run, but the top teams are really really good. Both teams have a good chance of performing very well at state. Of course they have to win the region first.

LaMoure was looking pretty good beating Enderlin Maple/Valley 7-2 in the Region then 5-2 in the Non-Region.
Mieklejohn and the Younger Thielges both got wins

They lost their right fielder, and lost their cather Van Horn who was there 4 batter and a very solid player...other than that nothing....they stuggle to put up runs and rely on defense and pitching which some games can be sketchy. The big hitting teams in the region are Northern Cass, Casselton, FSHP....They all have good pitching. Kindred just isnt the team they were last year

They are only going to win the games that Milbrandt pitches in my opinion, their next two guy just aren't going to cut it against good hitting teams like CC, NC and FSHP.

Its hard to decide, definitely going to be some close games in regionals.

Agree....Dahlgren has shut down FSHP twice...but in 13 innings has only struck out 3 batters....once those hits find the gap the game can be blown open...Totally agree they are going to win the game Milbrant throws...Like you said CC, NC, and FSHP will rock any other pitcher they have
