Which sophomores do you see making an impact on their team? I'm only familiar with EDC but throw in WDA if you know any.

south- aaron green should get a good amount of varsty bats lots of power potential has had a rocky start so far.

shanley- lincoln voss will start at 3rd base and alex widmer will play right field both are good fielders and should have good seasons at the plate, and voss should start some conference games for shanley.

davies- casey quilan if healthy could be a dominate pitcher this year lefty throws low to mid 80s with a dirty curve.

gunslinger you have no idea what your talking about. ive seen several of your posts on baseball topics and you are very far off with your opinions. quinlan does not through low 80s, he will be lucky to throw 75. he will get crushed against any team with some skill.

He throws atleast 75, I would say more like 78. I doubt he'll get "crushed" often, he's got some good stuff.

have you seen quilan pitch? id like to know where you get 75 from because i heard from his coaches he was around 77-78 this summer and i know he has been lifting and throwing in the offseason. go watch him play talk to some coaches then comment back.

he probably lifts like his brother and just does bench press. big pecs are terrible to have as a pitcher.

He does lift like his brother, but one thing he does different from his brother is he stays flexible. you can bench and do upper body as long as you can stay flexible and keep the flexion in your shoulders. I completely agree with you it is terrible for a pitcher but to this point he has been fine. The long term affects though could be bad if he doesnt tone it down.

I'd say for this past season, Caleb Fornshell of Minot has to be mentioned. He started at shortstop for the Magicians. Played well in the field and a great contact hitter.

Well don't you look silly saying quinlan is 'lucky' to throw 75. he dominated, and threw low to mid 80's.

I disagree. I catch for Quinlin on a regular basis and he throws mid-80s consistently

Also you don't make all EDC by throwing 75mph

It makes no difference how hard you throw when you can't hit it.

so fargocatcher10 do you feel like idiot? because quinlan definetly never got crushed, he barely was hit so before you say i have no idea what your talking about you should probably watch a player play and then open your mouth:)

Chandler Jacob of Minot is going to be a HUGE impact of the states baseball. He trains almost litterally everyday at A.S.K (sport training facility) and has been improving very much, has a 85 mph fastball, and a mean curve ball. Watch out for this young gun, cause he brings it.
