Seems that ND boys have had some good luck lately in baseball (Erstad, Helling, Coste, Hafner) Does anyone know if any kids from ND got drafted the past two days.....was there any prospects (high school or college).....just interested?

I heard that Rob Harty of Jamestown (All-State Baseball) is getting looked at by the Twins for a late rounder.

I've never even heard of rob harty.  What do his stats look like?  Why would he be looked at before guys like lundy, ebert, leer, etc....?

Good defensive 2B/SS, .397 BA 2 HR a good amount of RBIS.  Potential.

I saw him play this weekend and personally he's good, but doesn't have the tools to make it to the big leagues yet.  Maybe in the next 4 years, but he wasn't anything special.

I saw him too, and he definetly wasn't anything overly impressive.  Dont get me wrong, he was a good player, but their are a lot more players that are solid defensively that hit the ball for average and power better.... like leer, elgie, and lundy

Lol Rob Harty getting drafted? He's a *decent* player but by no means sticks out from the rest, he'll be lucky to walk on a d-2 team, and that's very iffy.

I have seen harty make at least 6 errors in the few games i have seen him play.  He does take good at bats and uses the whole field.  Whoever said he had a chance to get drafted this year is a fool!
