Blue collar baseball? never heard of that one before. but i guess you would call a team like the minnesota twins blue collar? is that what it means? i know blue collar basketball is teams that play intense defense and scrap and fight and claw for every loose ball.

about the century baseball coach thing. Olson, bhs's coach: teaches at century and coaches hockey there..where as gus teaches at some other school that doesnt offer high school baseball..why would it be hard for their kids to adjust to him..he doesnt teach and coach another sport at the CROSS TOWN RIVAL..think before you talk

To coach varsity hockey at CHS and varsity baseball at BHS. How can you even compare that to a coach doing one sport for both schools.

Several of the BHS baseball players play hockey and the games are BIG TIME RIVALS. The same type of rival as in the fb and bb games. BHS coaches instill this rival and it builds to the pride these players bring to each school. The players are not dumb. And on top of the issue is a coach caught Lieing to his players.. You need to build trust and respect as a coach. How can you trust and respect a coach who lies.

The coach may have great knowlege of the game but If he looses repect.. The players just go through the motions. Just what you have seen in the BHS baseball program last several years.

See, all your doing is making excuses for the simple fact that BHS baseball HAS NOT had the talent level that it has had in the past, You point out a coach in any sport that doesnt lie and I will point out a miracle every coach lies deal with it. All that you are showing right now is that you are hust like 90% of athletes and feel you should be babied and pampered but thats not how the world works. Do you want a coach or do you want a friend?

The improvement plan for Coach Olson must have fell a little short. I wonder if new Head Coach Powers will keep Varsity Assistant Wang??

Coach Powers will head Demon Baseball program for 2010. I bet you will see a strong interest in the number of players coming out in the spring of 2010. They may not get out of the West Region. Look forward to seeing some Demon Pride on the baseball field this spring.
