If you had to put 9 players from the EDC vs 9 players from the WDA who would they be?

that would be pointless. Nobody wants to see a varsity team play the JV. the east is horrible.

Combined 14-2, 1.07 ERA, approx 100 Ks in 70 inn, Minot 1-hitter at state(Yes south still lost), kingsley was a sophmore. Not absolutely ridiculous stats, but not laughable

Rusch threw a 1-hitter vs. Minot; lost 1-0 at State H. S. tournament (unearned run?)
2 weeks later Rusch holds Dickinson Legion to a couple runs at a tournament in Fargo; Fargo won.
Kingsley takes a shutout into the 8th vs. Bismarck at State Legion tournament befor being lifted, ahead 3-0 vs. Wentz. Bismarck ended up winning the game however.

It looks like they can hold their own - couple of earned runs over 21+ combined innings against the upper echelon west high school/legion teams.

from what i have seen they normally dont pitch like that. they couldn't hold down the west

actually yes they could, you should try watching some east games before you assume that the almighty west is that much better. legion last year was the only time in the last few years that the west has been legitimately above the east. just wait until state when the east's pitchers shove it up all the west team's butts.

rusch isn't as amazing as some people seem to think. and kingsley is still young and can get wild

haha that's right, with Beulah out there in the west, I'm going to say that the east is that much better... at least the majority of the games over here are close, there's no one that you can look at and say "we're going to beat this team by 20 today"

I dont think any east teams can beat Minot or Dickinson plus Bismarck is good and you know Wentz will pitch first round if Century makes it.

ok...dickinson and minot for sure...bhs just lost to century by 5 so im not really seeing great there. century has wentz and who else that is a big contributor to the team. wentz got hit alot and defense is what did it for him, his relief is what shut bhs down. St. mary's just beat a pretty decent mandan team in 11 innings. the west is very tight and with dickinson and minot both being very, very athletic and solid teams. the east, from what ive seen on preps is young. we'll see about minot on the opener tonight.

uhhh.... dude. wentz gave up NO HITS in his 4.2 innings. i don't know how that qualifies as getting hit a lot. his defense sucked behind him also by the way. i think they had 3 errors. the run he gave up was unearned for sure.

Know what you are talking about before you post.

I put Rusch and Kingsley on the same plane as Wentz.
I never blame myself when I'm not hitting. I just blame the bat and if it keeps up, I change bats. After all, if I know it isn't my fault that I'm not hitting, how can I get mad at myself?

I've faced all three of them and I'm just basing my judgment off those games. It's not that outrageous of a statement.

the east isnt even gonna get to play a game outside for another 2 weeks. fargo just got a foot of snow. west has a big advantage with it being warmer and being to play outside already and for the past 3-4 weeks or whatever

Not entirely true. No snow in Grand Forks, Valley City, or Devils Lake. Guess Fargo just got lucky. Maybe some Fargo homes games with those teams can be moved.
