Greene is hoping to start throwing again by mid-late April. He thinks he might be ready to pitch by mid May... but thats all up in the air right now.

could definitely add stephen laylock from dickinson...he shut down minot in WDA and State championship games and throws very well, really hits his spots.

last time i checked elgie played for minot and hausauer plays for bismarck so i dont know what your problem is. laylock has alot of talent and i dont think that anyone can deny it after having the freshmen season that he had last year so its not really talking anyone up. its more statement of fact.

kovacs threw but laylock threw against minot in the ship

kovacs started and went about 6-7 innings i believe and then they brought laylock in and he threw another 6-7 in the wda championship, laylock threw the whole state championship

greene is injured so i cant see him making it.
i also cant see anyone from vc making it, jensens gonna struggle to win a game.
shelton isnt good and is completely out of control. what position does he play now? put him in right field

larson is the only player from north i can see making it unless someone else has a break through year. edland from south has a chance too

why is that GFRR99 is always saying how bad everyone else is from anywhere but anyone who goes to south is great... should that say bruins99 not GFRR99?

i wasnt aware that greene's injury was going to keep him out that long. that will more than likely keep him off the all state team.
jensen is legit, you probably havent ever seen him play. yes it will be tough for him to win games considering he doesnt have the defense to back him up, but he will hit the ball around well enough to get him onto the all-state team.
shelton was one of the top hitters for north last year. he'll likely split time between the infield and catching depending on what the coaches have him doing. he's more than good enough to make the all-state team.

What is the catching situation at North looking like this season?

anyone have an opinion of jordan piatz (correct me if i spelled it wrong) from jamestown. from what ive seen he seems to be pretty solid. mabye not all-state material yet?

shelton, barnum, deminck are all possible candidates. im sure theyll all get some time to start the year and then it will be decided as the season progresses.

Wasnt hoffman the game 2 catcher last year?

cant say ive ever heard of him. what position(s) does he play?

he pitches, catches and plays infield. he seems to be pretty decent as a soph playing varsity. he even got some time last year as a frosh.

jeez sauc no love for the bismarck guys or willy or st marys... i'd say hausauer makes it along with johnson and probably peterson some other names to throw out there from willy sorenson richter and egge
hornecker from minot...pletan from mandan and also eichele from st marys

I was just going 1 player per position and i attempted to put in my opinion the very best 9 out of the west and this is the list i came up with i will agree with you on hausauer, johnson and peterson. i will also agree with pletan and hornecker but of those williston boys i would probly only take richter. these are just my opinions though.
